Hotel Ariston - Florence

That I could leave my bags in the hotel after check out

The breakfast was the same type of sweet bread every day, the wifi is only available in reception area, the tv in the room wasn't working, the windows of the room were giving onto a court yard that was shared with private residence and every day I could hear families shouting and people snoring, also some deranged or ill person was making strange disturbing noises.

Big room and accessible to a lot of areas of the city

The staff was beyond sub par. Two of the 3 total staff were very rude and provided a breakfast that consisted of dry bread and watered down tang drink.

It was very cheap accommodation but central although the actual area we were in was very shabby. The beds were clean and comfortable and we had a separate shower for own use down the hall. My brother and I wanted something cheap and conveniently situated because we intended taking several day tours. Despite its cheapness the beds were still made for us each day.

Third floor, lots of steps and a very heavy suitcase, I found it hard going. Despite it looking like a backpackers hostel the receptionist didnt seem to want or was unsure how to book any tours for us. Luckily I had my own phone, The staff I met were friendly enough.

It was conveniently located for the sites we wanted to see, and the price was very good. The staff was helpful and efficient.

We never got more bars of soap, despite staying four nights. And we didn't get all new clean towels after two days, as the sign said. Only one towel was replaced.

Toilet was very small, and flooded every time you had a shower, water would not drain away which was not nice. Very difficult to shave as there was little room and the sink and mirror was too low.Breakfast was very poor and not what you would want when you pay over 100 euros a night. I would not stay there again even if it was free

Location is perfect. The staff speaks English and is very nice and helpfull. The room was spacious. .

Very poor breakfast,not Italian coffee at all! Very old building and furnitures. There was Dirty walls in the room..and the bathroom was TINY. For me it doest worth 60euros/night..

The hotel is centrally located, near the Cathedral and Saint Ambrogio area. However, it is too expensive for what it offers.The rooms are very old, badly preserved, the bathroom is a nightmare, you can't take a shower without wetting everything around. The breakfast doens't have anything besides white bread and cold coffee...To be fair, I would pay not more than 30 euros/night at this hotel . However they can tax you 100 euros/night when is high season...VERY Italian!

The shower is very narrow and simple. Even thought the room has one window, we can not open it, because the buildings on the opposite are very near to our window. we feel depressed.

Very very poor isolation from corridor. It wasn`t possbile have a good sleep(( The room makes me fell as a student in the hostel) The separate bathroom is totally awful. вRain in the toilet doesn`t work constantly( In the end of the stay we can`t sleep becаuse of moscito invasion at the night(( Please, don`t eat breakfast from hotel, because in every bar you can have coffee and croissant twice cheaper) I hope it`s enough to find another hotel for your Florence vacation..

We checked out after the first night BUT was charged for four nights.! The room conditions and service were belowany acceptable standards Please inform the hotel to refund the unused three dsys for which they charged our AMEX card. Thanks
